Why not spend your time buying something that will get you outside more rather than keeping your eyes glued to a computer screen? Personally, I would put the money in the bank. I've saved up over $2,000 by MYSELF by not splurging on things like this. IT ADDS UP!

Buy neither. If I were you I'd get some nice clothes or go out to the cinema or something 
They will benefit you more and you have solid evidence of your expenditure

Cinema - no movies.
Nice clothes - I have a ton.
My parents have a lot of money saved in Germany, so they told me they will keep some for my college and furthering education. As far as the actual TOPIC, I'm planning to buy this stuff with MY OWN MONEY, gasp! -_- I have donated a lot of money to the library as a result of my overdue books, and I recently got a bank account my mother made for me.
I mean, I'm not THAT spoiled now, although I used to be.
