Its mostly because some Punbb forums might contain inappropriate stuff, so uh, yeah, I won't go into what kind, but some ( a considerable ammount actually
) is inappropriate for kids.

Probably a bad idea. They censor those links for a reason, so it's unwise to try to get around it. All that could lead to is link shorteners being blocked too.

Links are completely censored.
@Harakou: And we don't want that!

I'll close this topic. I'll let the admins know about your request, but whether or not the admins will post an announcement it's up to them [the Scratch Team].
Just a small FYI: In general, though, advertising on the Scratch site about forums and chatrooms where there is very little to no moderation are usually discouraged since (1) you can never really tell who is who and (2) they're easily defaced (particularly PunBB, hence why it's blocked now). So it's preferred that you don't share that kind of stuff on the Scratch website.

Definitely a bad idea - because it would be viewed as a deliberate attempt to get around the protections placed on the site - which are there for pretty much for the reasons you folks have already noted. Just too much under-moderated and inappropriate material out there
