Pokemon Scratch-The MMORPG
This is the official Scratch thread for Pokemon Scratch MMORPG.
Website shall be at pokemonscratch.escratch.org right after we FTP the files in.

To-do List: Priorities: ~High •Medium -Low

~choose our domain and make a tk-100%
~make a temp homepage-100%
~make actual homepage-5% (I'll just piece all the pages together on here)
Programming:
~start coding battles and stuff-0%

Design:
~design banner-0%
~design buttons-0%
Buttons to be designed:
~login button (has persian)
~about button (has togepi)
~sign up button (has meowth)
~help button (has igglybuff)

Anyway, where were you inspired? if its from ours no problem, pokemon rpg's have been dead until this month

I can do HTML and CSS. I was learning both PHP and Javascript, but I know nothing about MySQL.
Just tell me what you want me to do. Only don't make it requiered in the next few weeks, starting tomorrow or maybe later today. I'll be gone at camp.

erm, if you are planning to do this on the scratch program, then its not possible to make a MMORPG.

@Tornfusion-it doesn't have to be an mmorpg war... have you seen associated rpgs that are linked together or something?
@somelia-sure, you're in. uh... i'm trying to choose a random domain somewhere so if you see one that supports html, css, php, and mysql, let me know.
@ACA-have you realized that i'm looking for HTML and CSS and PHP and MYSQL programmers? those aren't required for scratch.
@earthboundjeff-um... i think the coders can cover that, it's not that hard...

Yeah, I would really try to make an offline version before anything. Considering you've made like 5 attempts at an offline version, I would really recommend learning how to code it yourself because the Scratch site doesn't have a lot of programmers capable of this.

PHP (I'm learning, and I know a little)
HTML (I'm pretty good)
Domain, and the .tk can redirect to a subdomain of my website, escratch.org if you want
I can't help with:
CSS (I'm not inspired enough to learn it, YET)
Management (I'm horrible at managing stuff)
Design (I'm really bad at artwork and stuff)

And you can't make an MMO with just php and sql, you need a dedicated server or similar service. I think a good one right now is player.io it uses actionscript and the basic version is free.

But tpmrpg only used HTML, CSS, php, and mysql

Oh I didn't consider a webpage RPG like that, I though this was more like the actual game.
