Re: What are your favorite books?

OH! The Quantum Prophecy by Micheal Carrol (spelling on name- not sure). It's about super heroes.
From the website:
Ten years ago the world's superhumans disappeared.

The disappearance is regarded as one of the great mysteries of our time...
... A mystery that is about to be uncovered by two teenage boys who have begun to develop strange powers of their own.

The Harry Potter series, The Lord of the Rings trilogy (originally one book), the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, and the Fablehaven series (not necessarily in that order).

Re: What are your favorite books?

The Marvelous Journey of Edward Tulane, Wizard of Oz (first one, other ones are not as good), Tuck Everlasting...

I like collecting bird field guides and books about animals. I think NatGeo's books are really cool and Michael Vanner's work is also good.

I'm also a bit of a comic fan. Garfield is one of the most clever and funniest books, as is Peanuts and Calvin & Hobbes. Mostly Garfield, though.
As for manga, I'm not a freak. I only like Keroro Gunso,Yotsuba&!, Shin Chan, and Neko Ramen. Mostly the more kid-friendly mangas, opposed to the perverted ones, but Shin Chan and Keroro can get sick at times. However, it is more appropriate than a lot of other ones out there.

OH GOD NO

I can't stand that series. I tried it, read the first 2 chapters, then quit it.
I couldn't get over that kid's immaturity, and the slope of the writing seemed more fitting for a picture book, if you ask me.

-The Chronicles of Narnia,
-The Lord of the Rings,
-Harry Potter, (primarily The Goblet of Fire),
-The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,
-The Secret Series (an amazing series buy an author with the pseudonym Pseudonymous Bosch, which in itself is a joke, because it almost gives away his name. Also, the happenings in the book, however outrageous, seem almost relatable.)
-The Theif Lord
-Inkheart (the series, not only the first book!)
-The Giver
-Percy Jackson and the Olympians
-Peter Pan

^^My favorite books EVER, plus one I hate. (I hate The 39 Clues.)

What's funny is that the girl I used to have a crush on looks exactly like the innustration of Cassandra in This Book is not Good for you, title page of chapter 39  yikes

There is also a shop in my city's downtown that reminds me of her "grandfather's" shop.

Erm

Halo (short for halosydene)
Lionboy
Percy Jackson and the olympian series.
Narnia
The Lost Hero
Harry Potter series
and best of all, the Hunger Games. It's a really good book, and I only got it yesterday lol. So I've only read half of it but it's still really good.
