I nkow many don't think this is possible, but there should be an "I Receive" boolean bock. How would this say true or false? If you inserted "If I Receive: ding dong" into an
[blocks] <say[ ]for( )secs> [/blocks]
It would say "True" Or "False" in if you receive the broadcast or not. This could lower the amount of variables in a game or movie.
So now, that I proved it can say if it is TRUE or FALSE no body can really say it won't work.

anyone?

I REALLY wish they could. Apparently broadcasts aren't booleans so it wouldn't work, but it's annoying having to use variables.

exactly. I'm saying they can MAKE THEM booleans.

How are variables more annoying to use than broadcasts?
because you have to make a bunch of variables for something you could simply insert "I receive" instead of "if level= 3 switch to costume # 5

I really prefer variables over broadcasts. I try to avoid using broadcasts unless its really necessary.

Actually, you can keep on reusing variables instead of creating many more broadcasts, so you need much less. Is it basically laziness or the simplicisty that makes broadcasts "less annoying?"

That's the part that's impossible. broadcasts are only for an instant, so that way there would be only a fraction of a second that's when the broadcast is broadcasting.
Seriously, this block is impossible. It's a lot easier just to use variables.
THIS BLOCK IS IMPOSSIBLE. Now stop asking for it.
