Cant access stage backgrounds
When trying to access the stage backgrounds a pink error message appears "Message not understood, Primitive Fail" Then a list of errors involving Bitmaps. I am assuming one of the stage backgrounds has become corrupt. Cannot access it to delete it and/or correct it. Any suggestions? Thank you

You might try starting up a new (empty) project and importing the entire project that is giving you trouble. That might force it to reformat the problem data.
Another possibility is that your version of Scratch has become corrupt or confused, maybe because somebody was playing around in Squeak making modified versions of Scratch? If you suspect that is the case, you should probably reinstall Scratch with a fresh version downloaded from the site. Hope that helps

You could try using a jpg. image instead of a bitmap image.
RANDOM THOUGHT: If the tomato is a fruit, doesn't that make ketchup a smoothie?
