Re: Too many topics?

The point is that the forums are a shared space.  We don't want the "conversation" to be dominated by any one person - which is what it looks like when the majority of the most recent topics are started by one person.

Post away to your heart's content - but please try to group your thoughts into existing topics as much as possible.  That's a good guideline for everybody using the forums.

*facepalm*

ONE topic pre day is enough. If I ever happen to post a topic, I try to limit it to one. THREE is just too much, really.

Many people complain that the Misc. is turning into Twitter. You obviously think it is Twitter.

Don't believe me? Look here:

60% of posts in the whole forums are bumps...
...and 60% of topics in the whole forums are made by you.

I believe that throughout the past 8 pages, she has posted 19 topics. Maybe 1-2 less.
9 of those 19 have a clear and relatively useful topic to discuss.
1 of those 19 is closed and 1 of 19 is in the wrong section (should be in requests)
2 of those 19 are about Lavender Town or Creepypastas (That's surprising!)

Well, that wouldn't have worked for the creepypasta, but thec reepy effect was diminished greatly anyway. So, I just gave up on it and posted the rest in one topic, and actually removed quite a bit of it.

The thing is, the topics I want are never in easy reach and I personally HATE the search tool. Sorry, but that REALLY needs upgrading.

No, it was because my nephew threw it across the room. Drawn to Life makes me too sad to play now. It reminds me of all the fights I had with turtleeggonstick, and the turtleeggonstick before..something happened. I don't know, she changed completely.

Was it the creepypasta?

Re: Too many topics?

I agree with Paddle2See.  It would be great if Scratchers looked for similar topics before posting their own.  No more "am I famous" threads, no more "Why am I still a new Scratcher" threads, etc.

Its because you post stupid things. Ever wondered why all your topics get closed? The forums aren't for chatting.

I'm trying to limit myself to maybe three topics a week now, and not right next to each other. That may seem reasonable.

Thats better.

Re: Too many topics?

I think even 1 topic a day is too much.

If you did 1 topic a day for an entire year, the number of pages in Misc would increse by around 15. And if EVERYONE did 1 topic a day for a year, the number of pages in Misc would be about 2397812.

Yeah, WAY too much, people.
