I personally think its a little bit weird. I liked the remotes. I haven't really looking into it though. Anything I should know? Can we still use the remotes?
Everything is backwards compatible. WiiMotes and their add ons, and Wii games as well.
So they say
I don't get it lol.

does the game have to be compadible with the new remote? No?

So bundling the system with one of the controllers and all is fine. I mean we expect a high price for a console, but what happens when you want another controller?

Already been done.

okay so lets clear some things up from your least favorite fan boy.
the new system looks like this;
the new controller looks like this;
the system appeals to both hardcore and casual gamers.
check out the software line up video. the games are for the hardcore audience and look AMAZING.
although no one is to sure of the power just yet, we do know Battle Field 3 probably the most graphically stunning game ever created is being ported to the console at launch.
FAQ
Q: LOLWUT IT JUD 3DS!
A: no, that's the controller. the touch screen will show things like maps, inventories and stuff like that. as a bonus, some software will allow you to stream the game onto your controller to allow you to play, with in range of the wii u, with out the tv.
Q: IT LOOK UGLY!
A: no. and its smaller than it looks.
Q: MY PS3 MORE POWERFUL
A: take a look at some gameplay videos and judge for yourself. answer; probably not.
Q: WUD IT JUD WII ADD ON!
A: you're an idiot. do your research. the console just happens to support the wii remotes for SOME games. (aka. casual stuff)
Q: I DUN UNDERSTAND WAD IT IS?
it's a revolution. join it.
any questions?

Coming from another Nintendo expert and fanboy...
1. It's not just a new controller. The console itself is much stronger and with the new controller, there is a lot of potential for games that were never possible.
2. Nintendo is fixing one of their major mistakes with the Wii; hardcore games. Nintendo is moving away from the family/casual-gamer genre, and opening up to all varieties. In the lineup video, you see games like Tekken, Ghost Recon, and Assassin's Creed coming to the console. Imagine being able to see your inventory on your controller, and be able to fight on your screen
3. HD. Nintendo released a small clip of an HD Zelda game which is just amazing. Finally, you can swing Link's sword in 1080p. And this isn't it. Just imagine the possibilities.

So basically, it went like this:
NES=Hardcore
SNES=Hardcore
N64=Hardcore
GCN=Hardcore
Wii=Casual
Ü=Hardcore
Finally, we're back home.

Lol, I phrased that kind of wrong. I meant like HD shooters, etc.

Dangit, Nintendo. Do you seriously expect me to have the money for all these innovations you're coming up with? >:

That is the best thing to come out of Nintendo since the N64. I can't think of anything more to say about that.
Maybe Nintendo will catch up with Microsoft and Sony.![]()
Actually, the Wii is winning the console war, with about 80,000,000 units sold, and the ps3 and xbox360 have about 50,000,000 units sold

I read a story on this and I was like "Eh, sound interesting." then i watched the video and i was like
"Whoa" 0_o
I think the coolest part was with the golf ball in the sand. That, and acutally being able to have controll over the miis catching the ball in Wii Sports... It always annoys me when they don't catch it and they have the chance to...

All right another fanboy note: why do people say the Wii is just now catching up? I mean, behind in graphics and you're behind in everything? Yeah, right. Nintendo is the only company making a profit off their main console so I hear (but am not certain so no hate).
And my final note: do want

Blah, I think the 3DS would be better, for me, anyway.
