Scratch is a official programming language. Scratch is a visual programming language that was made by squeak, also a programming language. Pretty much, scratch makes programming a lot easier. Instead of typing a code all day, put some blocks together and boom, your done. Trust me, I work with Visual Basic and C++, its pretty advanced.
I know how advanced they are, and I am no amateur programmer. I stress in this post that although Scratch has limited capabilities, it opens up programming to not just those who study for days, but also those casual gamers who want to try creating something on their own but do not want to spend the time learning, say, C++.

Who cares? I'm not being specific or anything. If a newspaper advertises itself as "a paper every businessman should read" then that doesn't mean that you can't read it if you're not a businessman. It just means that businessmen may find it helpful. Please, if you have a comment, by all means post it!

Scratch is strange. It attracts everyone. Adults. Teenagers. Kids. Heck, I have a friend whose grandma is making games. Camps teach kids to program, schools encourage students to make games using Scratch.... it seems that everything is linked to it in some way or another.
Really? Rlly? My gosh! It's a magnet, Scratch is. As strong as gravity.

Yeah, lol. Not exactly good at making Scratch projects, but it's the thought that counts
