Utahraptor ostrommaysorum Vs. Bengal Tiger

Who do you think would win in a one-on-one fight? Keep in mind, do not favor one animal. I want it to be sincere and honest. It doesn't matter which one you like better.

A little size comparison to help you decide.  wink
I honestly think the dinosaur would win, hands down.

it depends who attacks first. if the tiger attacks first the tiger will win. if the Utahraptor attacks first, the dino will win.

Ditto to this. If the tiger can make the first move and lunge at the Utahraptor's throat, it has a pretty good chance to win. But if the Utahraptor manages to lunge on top pf the tiger, then it's bye-bye tiger.

Yes, but what if the Utahraptor is fast enough to dodge, or gouge the tiger's eyes?

if the utahraptor was scavenging, he would not see the tiger

It's kind of hard to say here. The Utahraptor is now extinct so we only make assumptions about its speed and hunting abilities.

I'd imagine that any hunting animal has to be silent while hunting. If a tiger can hide and do a surprise lunge attack without the raptor noticing until it's too late, I think it has a fairly good change of winning. Otherwise, if the raptor is faster and more alert than the tiger, then it will be the Utahraptor's skill that will persevere.

It was. Hence Utahraptor.  tongue

Nah. That's where my portal gun and my super powers come in.
Tigers are bit cute kitties that kill people and will rule the world some day.
So I'll kill the dino.

Not to mention, it has 9 inch foot claws.

Utahraptor was about twice the size of a Bengal tiger and it's smaller relative, Deinonychus. Match the tiger against a Deinonychus it would probably be more of an equal match, since both are of equal size. However, that's not to say the Utahraptor can automatically kill the tiger. It all depends on certain individuals and what moves each opponent makes. If the dino manages to cut its throat open or slash it in a sensitive area, the tiger will probably be dead or, at least, injured. If the tiger attacks at the dino's weak spot, maybe it would be best to say "bye-bye" raptor. Like you said, though, we can only make assumptions of how Utahraptor fought and lived.
