The movie was absolutely amazing!
Not as good as the book, but almost.
And the whole book 7 is pretty much depressing up until they win the battle because they are huge underdogs until they win.

Alright, I admit the movie wasn't that bad, but here are several reasons why I think it could be much better:

1) Hedwig died 
2) You can't really see the movie because the lighting it was made in is so dark.
3) It's too grim - yes, it's supposed to have a coming-of-age theme, but too many people die.
4) It lacks the spirit of the first movie.


..But it's still better than a lot of movies

2)Good point but that adds to the effect.

Cars was pretty child-ish but the sequal looks a lot better

1) Eh, it doesn't really add or subtract anything from the movie. That I can live with, although it was sad.
2) The lighting.. well, it's also ok.
3) Yeah, but someone doesn't need to die every 10 minutes!
4) It. Lacks. The. Spirit. There is no whimsical fun and magic anymore. Perhaps I am overreacting, but I think that it could have been just a TINY BIT more cheery.


Oh, also Super 8 for the win. I wish I had the alien for a pet :3 So cute!

I think they did as good of a job as they could adding humor in with the melancholy plot...and all I remember dying were hedwig, dobby, wormtail...

Kung Fu Panda 2 is out, if I'm not mistaken. My classmates went to see it, and heck, I don't even live in the US.

I'm not a big fan of movies but kung fu panda 2 looks fun(ny).
