I personally don't like Microsoft myself (how ironic, I am posting this from a Windows computer) and only use Windows because 1. My parents won't buy a mac and 2. Linux is slow on the computer. And 3. They're convinced that Reactos has viruses. 

Right now, I'm so freaking mad! THEY BOUGHT SKYPE AND NOW I CAN'T REALLY TALK TO MY BROTHER ANYMORE WHEN HE'S NOT VISITING!  Because HE refuses to touch anything Microsoft.

So, let's all start boycotting Microsoft products and teach that stupid company a lesson!

ON Topic: I heard about Minecraft. I find it a good idea. If they release it as an actual Shelf product, An already popular game could get even more fans on it's side.

This proves that Microsoft is epic. This shows what's going on around here.

So anyway... I guess this is ultimately about Minecraft for the Xbox. Personally, I don't really see the point. In general, you're going to get much less accurate control (important in Minecraft) with analog sticks than with a keyboard and mouse. If it was a game that required a powerful computer to run and they wanted it more accessible to the mainstream market, that would be one thing, but pretty much any computer made in the last 10 years can handle Minecraft fairly well.

I don't know where your brother heard that from, but I guarantee Microsoft didn't buy Minecraft. First of all, it's non-licensed software that's still in beta. Second of all, it's being developed by a small company in Sweden. Where would Mojang get money from if Microsoft bought it? Third of all, there's nothing on either site or Notch's twitter feed.

I dont care what company makes my junk. As long as it works it a-ok. And minecraft on kinect? Many hours of back breaking work of punching with your fist to break your first piece of cobble.
