Pff no hatin on Microsoft. Why wouldn't your parents use Microsoft products? They're the same great people that brought us MineSweeper, Word, (who [removed] told you Skype was made by Microsoft?), THE FREAKIN XBOX 360, and many more I'm not able to list. Sure, windows can be a little bit bumpy, but hey, if they weren't great, they wouldn't be in buisness. Sure, the big A made the iPad, iPod, iPhone, iMac, BacBook, ect.  But those little guys working down at Microsoft need a break.

You, my friend, are ridiculous. Bill Gates does most definitely not kill babies. He feeds starving people, does charity work, helps others, he founded a charity organization and quit microsoft to work on the organization more. Sounds like someone's a little jealous of the wealthy here.

computers are all the same. all you people above me who said "Microsoft's sucks" or "macs are [removed]" need to need to stop being short-sided and think  a mac is a computer. windows are a type of computer. there is hardly ANY difference. do you have to make a topic about this? who cares if microsoft bought minecraft? did you ever think minecraft sold it to microsoft?
if your parents don't like a certain computer because it was made by a certain company, talk to them to try to reason with them.

Also it's hilarious how many people think the game is ruined for no reason. The Xbox game probably wont be out until the game is finished, It will not affect development. He's just putting it on other platforms, and he probably chose Xbox because if I remember right it has the most similar architecture to a PC. Jesus everyone, Microsoft buying the rights to the XBOX PORT of Minecraft does NOT mean they have the rights to Minecraft PERIOD.

The whole port isn't even made by Notch, It's made by some other idiot.

Plus boycotting all Microsoft products is completely impossible. And Minecraft again is not a Microsoft product. And what did Microsoft do to deserve a boycott? Nothing! There is no real reason Microsoft is evil. You and your brothers rallying and boycotting is completely baseless!

Way to miss the topic. Yes, an official Xbox port is going to come a little while after the home computer versions are finished and released. No, it will not affect development cycle. And no, Microsoft has not bought Minecraft. I don't even know how you begin to come to that conclusion.
