Background Costume Renaming Problem

When I named a background costume then deleted it, then created a new background costume with the same name it will rename the new cosume. Eg. "1 was the name, delete then create new costume, and rename it, it will change to 2." The previous name is still being held in the memory even though it is not being referenced from anywhere else. Tried to reset the software after a save but same problem occurs. I have not started over to try to solve the problem because that would mean lots of work to redo.

Re: Background Costume Renaming Problem

You would have to bring back the background, rename it something else, then delete it. Besides, why do you really need it?

Re: Background Costume Renaming Problem

Because when you are referencing the name of the stage in you code to go from 1 to lvl 10 starting at 2 to 11 doesn't work if you have some algorithms that work with your stag. Yes you could say just -1 from the end result but this problem should get fixed.
