PFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Your brother is crazy! All that happened is that Minecraft is getting an Xbox port, Microsoft does not own Minecraft now or something idiotic like that. It's also getting a Android port, so all that is going on is that it's multi-platform. Nothing disastrous. Tell your brother this so he doesn't flip out anymore.

Also it's hilarious how many people think the game is ruined for no reason. The Xbox game probably wont be out until the game is finished, It will not affect development. The Minecraft port is being worked on by a separate team, Notch said so in a tweet. And people think Notch is selling out? Why? He's just putting it on other platforms, and he probably chose Xbox because if I remember right it has the most similar architecture to a PC. Jesus everyone, Microsoft buying the rights to the XBOX PORT of Minecraft does NOT mean they have the rights to Minecraft PERIOD.

Plus boycotting all Microsoft products is completely impossible. And Minecraft again is not a Microsoft product. And what did Microsoft do to deserve a boycott? Nothing! There is no real reason Microsoft is evil. You and your brothers rallying and boycotting is completely baseless!

Microsoft actually did buy out Skype recently, but it really has little effect on the program itself. It's more so that Skype can expand and be integrated into Microsoft products. In the end, everyone benefits, really. When a company buys out another, the same development team usually stays, just under different ownership.

My dad works at Apple=No Microsoft! In fact, if I brought home a Microsoft anything, I wouldn't be here right now... *shudders* Also means NO OTHER COMPANIES EXCEPT APPLE. We especially hate Microsoft, though. IT HAS STARTED TO RIP OFF APPLE... OH, WAIT, THEY'VE BEEN DOING THAT FOR YEARS.

Okay, did a little research, Microsoft didn't buy Minecraft, Mojang is only just make a version that will be released on the Xbox with Kinect support (Byebye FortressCraft?) and seriously, you and your brother have problems if you hate Microsoft, their just a company. And Bill is no longer the head of Microsoft, he's retired.
