I just finished interviewing waveOSbeta about his Namco petition. I'm expecting a reply with the answers soon. I decided to notify you about this now so you wouldn't think that I still haven't done an interview.
Sorry that I haven't done one until now, by the way. I shall attempt to interview DucksINC soon.

All4One:
My interview.
(1. How did you find about what Namco Bandai did 124scratch's project and how did you feel when you did?
There was a topic in Misc. with a link to a news article. I was thinking about the millions of flash remakes of the game online that nothing was being done about.
(2. When you made the topic with the petition, did you expect a lot of people to sign up?
In all honesty, I wasn't sure. But the waves of support have impressed me. I thought I'd be lucky to get about 50.
(3. Did people really start signing up right away?
Yes, within the first 5 minutes.
(4. Now you've sent an e-mail about it to Namco, and others have been encouraged to do so as well. Have you gotten a reply from them yet?
No, I am awaiting one. I plan to e-mail them again saying that I will get all supporters to upload a pac-man project if they don't reply within a week.
(5. On a slightly unrelated note, what kind of projects do you enjoy and is there a user that inspires you?
I enjoy games that are well-worked-on. I admire 08jackt because he has some of the best games on Scratch.
(6. Anything you would like to add?
I might not be that active, as I am writing a book. with a couple of my friends.
[/interview]
Posted it here, not enough space in the comments...

My best projects are Skyline OS, a few small games and a big game I'm working on called the virtual world of speed - though still in alpha stage.
I have been on scratch website since early to mid 2010 but I've used the scratch program since late 2009.
I would like a project reviewing and column writing position, I already do it for Scratch N Stuff which i suppose is your rival and you may not let me in but the scratch n stuff mag seems dying (sorry scratchlive!) but if that position's not available then anything else will suit me fine. Maybe a how-to column?
The reviewer column is full, but there is a how-to column... you're in!

How to get engine sounds and manual transmission in a Scratch project
Difficulty:
Beginner
Intermediate
Amateur
Expert
-jji7skyline
Okay, so you have your project. You have a car sprite and a background. You want to put in engine sounds and a manual gearbox. (NOTE: This also works with motorcycles or anything else that needs engine sounds). Create 3 variables, one for RPMs, one for Velocity and one for the Gear speed.
Create scripts that calculate the velocity via RPM x Gear. Add a script that makes the car move according to velocity. Add a script that changes RPM when accelerator (usually up arrow or space) is pressed and lowers the rpm when the accelerator is not pressed. Define some keys for gear change. (I used “w” for gear up and “s” for gear down). When the gear is changed up decrease the RPM by a set value and change the Gear variable by +1. When the gear is changed down increase the RPM by a set value and change the Gear variable by -1.
To create the realistic engine sound, create a script saying forever play note
(rpm/(set value)). Set the instrument to gunshot for a hard but powerful engine sound and fretless bass (finger) for a softer more tamed engine sound.
You may like to simply show the variables as they are or convert them into instruments. This is not covered in this article. To look at an example see my “ Drift Car with Engine Sounds Manual Transmission” project.
