An okay piece of writing.
I have taken these few paragraphs from my 10-chapter book. If you like it and want to read more, I'll post it in a PDF format.
"Welcome," he said, "to the city of eternal rain." Naturally, I was confused, as it wasn't raining. But I was welcomed. As soon as he led me in, though, I noticed something strange. There were no buildings.
The man must have noticed me tense up, so he looked at me. "What's wrong?" he asked.
"...Nothing."
Then, he started to creepily grin at me. He started to advance toward me. He had looked rather batlike from the time I first met him, but now he was really ready to bite. A woman passing by gasped and grabbed me away.
We both stared as the man slowly faded away.

Nice! Seems a little out there, but fine for a Fantasy story.
Can you read my story I posted?
I'm glad to think that the community will always be kind and helpful, the language will always be a fun and easy way to be introduced into programming, the motto will always be: Imagine, Program, Share - Nomolos

I think it's an excerpt so you're probably not supposed to know. I don't think the character knows yet either anyhow.
