Why does the TBG seem so...dead?
All the RPGers have left (I mean the new stuff is just...awful) and it seems that the TBG's just aren't any fun anymore.

Okay, with the exception of a few. But I just don't feel comfortable there anymore. I wanna go back to early 2010!

Dunno, it's just kinda is. It got severed off the main site, a lot of the regulars either became inactive or were refugees from the forums and main site, so...yeah. It was gonna happen eventually.

Yeah, it is a bit dead-ish. Which is why I didn't want it on a seperate site in the first place (though I regret acting like an insane person )
Maybe we can revive it somehow

I'm one of those pesky newer TBGers and I think it's all because there aren't enough fun/original RPGs. Either the ideas are overused or the thread owners can't spell/capitalize. I think we need to find new concepts... I have one, but I'm afraid that people won't go along with the plot I have in mind...

It's changed from when I joined. Now it's just people trying to out-powerplay each other, and I don't even want to go there anymore because I know it's just going to be a plain old battle game without graphics.

I just don't think Scratch forum TBGs and TBG TBGs are on the same level.
But I have no experience of Scratch forum TBGs so I can't say that.

IMO the RPGs fail now; I'm tired of RP'ing with people that do it in a different way...
And the TBG type is different - I miss the old ones, they had more thinking required
And overall I have way less fun there. I just wish I could get online with Survivorduck and WeirdF more.
