Sound and Loudness

It's not exactly a bug, but the recording feature on scratch 1.4 doesn't work for me. Also, when I do a script with the block, if, and then put loud? in the gap, it doesn't hear me no matter how loud I scream. Can someone help?

Have you checked to make sure the audio input on your computer is set to your microphone?

Yep, make sure your input device is set to "Microphone" (in WinXP you can set it with the Volume Control app, should be the same in other Windows versions), and of course, that your mic is connected and working.
