Has anyone ever requested to become a Scratcher?
See topic title. I already have another account that's a Scratcher. My identity is... 
I almost spoiled my identity! Anyway, if someone has, does anyone pay attention to their request?

Usually accounts must manually earn the Scratcher status; the Scratch Team makes few exceptions.

People have requested it, yes, but they don't get it. They have to be active just like everybody else.
