Interestingly, the only "highlight" they get on these forums is the title "Scratch Team," just as moderators get the title "Community Moderator" and most members get the title "Scratcher" or "New Scratcher." The asterisk next to the username only applies to the main website, although it is a welcome addition - I'd be confused if somebody who I wasn't aware was the Scratch Team tried to intervene with something.

yeah what are people gonna think in a few days/weeks when they see us laughing at "Yay! TST (acronym for the changed word scratch team) have asteriks next to their name!" I hope all posts from April 1st stay this way so we don't look foolish

Since this is a Scratch Team forum, this is the only way I know to ask the Scratch Team if I can make this mod, Scratch Advanced. People say I need to ask to use the word 'Scratch' in the name of a mod. Please?

For all you people asking to be mods, you need to know that this is a website with over a million users. Do you really think that a website this big would mod people just by asking? Just be helpful and friendly, and then you'll stand a chance in the elections.
