The Past-Life Theory

If this topic irritates you, please give some constructive criticism instead of complaining. Chances are, if you complain, I'm not going to listen to you. Thanks.

I'm not sure whether this is a creepypasta or just a theory. Most of it is totally fake, but some stuff is real.

---

Interestingly, my earliest memory is screaming and falling. "HELP!" I had tried to scream, but no words came, only "Augh!"

I just remember that.

Nothing else.

My second-earliest memory is babbling on the floor to my mom, in three-year-old baby talk.

And I have had odd...flashbacks. Of being a totally different person.

So I bring you this story I've written - which could contain the reasons why this has happened.

---

"Get off your GameBoy and do the dishes!"

I was aroused by my mom. Sigh...yet another day...

"I already did the dishes!"

"No you didn't."

"Yes I did! I put them in the dishwasher!"

"You forgot to turn it on."

"Oops."

I walked into the kitchen and turned the dishwasher on. I immediately stalked back into the living room and flopped down on my couch. I needed to catch all 151 Pokemon...

It was April, 1998.

I picked up my GameBoy again. Absorbed again in my game - Pokemon Blue - I walked over to a signpost. "Lavender Town ahead."

I literally dropped the GameBoy. "No way am I going to go in there!" I'd heard the many rumors. I then decided I was just being superstitious, but I decided to just restart the game again.

"Get off your GameBoy and go do something productive!"

"Okay, Dad."

I put my helmet on. I was about to ride my bike around the block.

I was enjoying the fresh air. I was halfway around the block when I almost crashed into the little girl.

I swerved around her. I missed the girl, but...

My helmet flew off my head. I had forgotten to strap it in.

Then, I fell. Into the street. Then, I blacked out...

...and knew nothing ever again.

Until five years later...

When I was three years old...

...In THIS life.

Re: The Past-Life Theory

Well, on a serious note: I've read cases of people having weird dreams and some people assumed that the dreams are residues of memories from a past life. Some people think it's only because of experiences around us, that we end up making connections and immediately dismiss it as being due to a past life because it's coincidentally a bit eerie and they can't find any other explanation.

Given the last sentence, personally, I don't believe in Past-Life theory.  hmm

That must have been a long dream then...

What I mean I'm getting memories that are so scrambled I can't decipher them, triggered by certain happenings in life. As far as I can tell, APril 1998, Pokemon Blue, Gameboy, Dishes, Bike, Fell. That's all I know, but it like spanned for over four days.

Re: The Past-Life Theory

I have the same thing, but they are most likely just dreams, since they don't have the same vivid memory like everything else I try to recollect.

Yeah.

And Nexstudent, the only clear flashback I have is falling off a bike and blacking out. It's triggered by the Route 10 music, which played right before entering Lavender Town.

Well, the mind has a tendency to think pretty fast, I wouldn't be surprised if we imagine so many events within such a short time (ever hear about the idea "my life flashed before my eyes"? ;D)

Of course, like I've said before, we might experience memories because of experiences around us. I remember one case where a boy had dreams about being a WWII pilot and was being attacked by the Japanese - some thought he was a WWII pilot in the past life, but he was interested in WWII paraphernalia and he could have just been exposed to reading accounts of WWII pilots (there's more to this that had lead others to debunk this idea of the boy being a former WWII pilot, but that would just make it a giant wall of text that I don't feel like typing).

There has to be some sort of next life. I mean, what the heck are you going to do with all those atoms when you rot away and die? of course, I don't believe it's that...umm...you know...you'll probably become something along the line of a tree.
