Well, you could keep deleting all of your cookies and changing your ip, like 192.168.1.1, 192.168.1.2, 192.168.1.3, etc. and give yourself ton of love-its.

Yeah, but that's a ton of work for a little reward.

Actually, it's quite easy.  Just open Command prompt, and change it.

You'd have to change your public IP, not your private IP.

Re: Allow Non-Users to Love Projects

Not all people have different IP adresses. I happen to know that my Home IP adress is shared by at least 20 scratchers. That's why it wouldn't work. And also, making a program that monitors a users Internet access and then sends back the data to the program author is illegal. Although this may be useful, it would be a essentially a Trojan.

When you log in, and you're around for a while (ie, 3 years), 1 love-it-button-click means 10 love-its, while if you joined yesterday or you aren't logged in, one love-it means 1 love-it.

It doesn't work like that. The more often you vote the more your vote is worth, it makes it so that people can't mass create accounts and give themselves good ratings. If you stay on for 5 years and don't make any votes your voting power doesn't change.

PS: No love its for non-members, your school mates wouldn't even be able to love it more than once because the school pcs use the same IP. Also, making them not sign up make them be way less involved in the site.

Re: Allow Non-Users to Love Projects

I'd say yes, except it would sort of be kind of wierd to have random people on scratch you know?

Uh that was kinda a necropost.

It didn't really make any sense either.
