ELABORATE! I wanna hear!

All right.

It was totally black, and I got this feeling I was climbing a dark staircase. There was a light at the very top, I was almost there when I was revived by my friend. No one really knows about it, I just didn't think about it much before. I was like in this in-between world...

That is just plain AWESOME. Not the fact that you could have died, but the fact that you went into this sort of afterlife. I always wonder about the afterlife.

I agree. It is actually amusing.
When you was revived, were you still in the stairs or somewhere else?

Re: Crazy near-death experiences...

ok ok i have a story of my own. it's not a near death but it hurt like... it hurt alot.

so it was summer and i was at the skate park at around 5 or 6 am when it wasn't so hot outside. i was on my bike ready to drop in on the bowl at one of those little spots where the coping is removed (coping=pipe around the rim) and BOOM the next thing i know i'm on my back on the ground and i can't breathe. no slow-mo fail for me it all happened so fast that the adrenaline kicked in only after the fall. one of the other people who were crazy enough to be at the skate park at 5 in the morning told me to put my arms above my head. that helped alot. what i didn't know at that moment was that 1. i'm lucky to not have broken my jaw and some teeth. and 2. my chin is split open and bleeding so my dad and i go home and bandage me up (i'm really lucky my tongue took lots of the impact and not my teeth although my front teeth were loose for a few days after that) no i did not get stitches but we just butterflied it up. (butterfly bandages are like stitches that stick on by the way) so my tongue hurt for a few days and it was also a pain in the butt to shower because i couldn't get the bandage wet but i have a really cool scar to show for it.

I know I'm eventually going to get banned, but I'm going to ride out on a endless, shining wave of logic.

I was at the top step. The light was like some kind of door, and I could see one branch of a tree silhouetted. It actually was kind of beautiful, in a sense. I wish I could've stayed...meh, I have a life to live.

That must have been scary.... "Don't worry, you'll feel a pinch and then you'll be nice and asleep..." "Whoops, wrong vein!" "No, that one there!" "You're just a resident, what would you know?!"...

I've been through so many Tornado warnings and watches I've lost count.

Fell off my scooter and headfirsted into hard concrete stairs, almost cracked my skull and shins.

Well, what's this thread about?

Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?
