I'm not too good on code, but is there a way for some scratchers to connect to others on one single project.
Example: if ONLINE SPRITE=Yes, sprite is same for all people
if ONLINE SPRITE=No, sprite can be copied (multiplied).
If ONLINE VARIABLE=Yes, variable is same for all.
A bit advanced, i will say. (set Online Mode=yes if something such as Multiplayer fight comes up, or just in general.... E.I. If Multiplayer button clicked=Yes, set ONLINE to yes.)
This will be a great addition to scratch, but I can understand if Scratch doesn't have the capabilities.

To put it in simpler terms, it can collect data. in other words,
IF: Map=1 and other people are there, the other people are shown if Online=yes AND Player Sprite same sprite for all=No (this means that multiple people have different player sprites
for lists: If (Username given) is in list and (Password given) is in list (disable downloading would be best to avoid hacking.), set blah blah to item blah blah of list blah blah blah... (however, EVERY SINGLE USER NAME AND PASS MOUNTS UP!)

For that question in the first post - yes, you can, and it's called mesh. It requires some hacking to enable, and can be difficult to get the hang of, but all the instructions are on that page.
Some good suggestions here... I hear Scratch 2.0 will have built-in online connectivity, so some of these might actually be possible.

not what i meant
This is for 2 projects to interact. I'm asking if there's a way to have, say, 5 people on the same project at the same time be able to interact (chat, trade, PvP, etc.)
