Okay, you probably all remember your first few weeks at Scratch. Nobody ever looked at your projects, or commented. Even if they did comment, it was something like: "No point in game." or "I don't get it!" We all know how discouraged Scratchers get when no one likes their projects - in fact, that is one of the reasons the Scratch website is overflowing with "I quit" projects.
What this topic is all about is for new Scratchers to not feel discouraged. The only way for this to work, however, is if we all pitch in to help. First of all, go to the Newest Projects. Find one that has few or no views. Look at it, then comment. Remember to bring out what you liked in the project, and what they could improve on. Always end on a positive note! (Thanks to FantasyTales for thinking up this idea)
Now, you're probably thinking, "Ugh, this'll be so boring! I'll have to look at lame projects all day!" Whenever you think that, remember how you felt when nobody appreciated your hard work on projects. I absolutely love commenting on little-viewed projects and encouraging the Scratchers. In fact, one guy added me to his friend's list just because I wrote him a nice comment!
Anyways, those are just some ideas. Try to get 5 nice comments to lowly-viewed-projects every time you go on Scratch!
Thank you for reading this, and I hope with all of us pitching in, we can make new Scratchers feel welcome.
Scratch on!

I agree! I can remember those times...

Still not many people like or look at my projects and I've been here for a few years....probably because of my lack of ability to program things.
