Can someone explain to me what a <div> tag does. I went through learning HTML and never once used it?

This seems like an awesome project! Any chance that I could maybe use the coding on my site, so we have a backup in case yours breaks?
I see you are back. Your previous signature must have been an epic fail.

A <div> tag is a container.
it is equivelant to:
<br> (code here) <br>
not the same as a <p> tag, but close.

search for 'w3schools div tag' and click on the first result.

Now I get it, its used to collect similar code together to alter things at the same time (E.G style).
BTW my website is still growing... Animation, scrolling, a bigger screen, and a bigger map have been added. Collision is there (Top left square)

Hey, I am testing something out here and would like to know some things...
Can people test it out on different devices and see how long it takes to move (Arrow keys).
(If on a DSi hold L/R and then press arrows)
Thanks....

Ok!
DSi Results: Doesn't work. The screen is too big for the dsi, so it scrolls instead of moving the character

Not in Europe. And I correct myself:
Nintendo website wrote:
Other capabilities that go live with the system update include a free Internet browser which has the capability to show 3D images on sites specifically designed to show 3D images. The browser can also be used during gameplay. Users can stop their Nintendo 3DS game and go to the browser by pressing the Home Button and then resume their game when they are finished browsing. People can also use the browser to download 3D pictures from the Internet or upload pictures they have taken with the Nintendo 3DS cameras.
EDIT: Wait... You live in the UK?! Too?!
EDIT 2: What are you on about? I just tried it and my system is up to date. Are you sure you're not getting confused with the update with the 3D Video in it?

Hmm... I just thought, this project would be shut down by nintendo (they sneak stuff like blockers in their updates sometimes) and the creator would be took into court, assuming nobody snitches or speads this. We need to keep this low profile.
I TOTALLY SUPPORT THIS! I KNOW UR 10 BUT U ROCK! It would be a lot easier on the NDS/DSI/3DS platforms than the wii. The 3DS will not be updated for a long time as they're now updating the wii. Probably the exact sequence the NDS evolved.
I LIVE IN UK!

So, can someone tell me what the DSi characters mean? Does letter A on DSi keyboard use ascii 65?, etc.

I just found out it's just the loading screen. Can I customize it?

In my current revision, I edited "Loading..." into "Loading Scratch Everywhere..." to make sense it's loading the correct thing, and for extra "decoration".
Is this a good change?
EDIT: I said revision becau- Wikipedia.

And, you control the canvas tag with Javascript.
Example:
<script type="text/javascript"> (Javascript) var c=document.getElementById("canvasId"); // Get access to edit the canvas. var cxt=c.getContext("2d"); // Define the style, using the variable c. cxt.fillStyle="#FF0000"; // Hexademical colour cxt.fillRect(xpos, ypos, width, height); // Create filled rectangle </script> <canvas id="canvasId" width="(place width of total image)" height="(place height of total image)"></canvas> (makes the Canvas itself)
