Getting pics out of Scratch

Ok. so I have this sprite i made in scratch i want to show to my friend, but he doesnt have scratch, so i want to send it to him as a normal pic, but i cant get it off scratch and into something like paint, help?

Select a sprite in Scratch, go to the costumes tab, right-click a costume, and select "Export this costume". It will be exported as an image file to the folder of your choice.
