Ideas for a New Portal Game
Post your ideas for portal here.
One thing though. I WILL NOT allow spoilers. Just give ideas for new elements for the game, not anything to do with the characters or plot.
Mine:
Portal Cannon: A cannon that you can place a portal on. It is connected to a button. As you stand the button, the cannon will aim up and down slowly. When you get off the button, it stops, aimed wherever you want. Using velocity, you can shoot yourself or any object you can pick up through the cannon.
Aperture Science Air Ventilation Floor: A kind of floor that blows wind upwards. That can make you levitate slightly, and will blow cubes and other objects upwards. Wind can be blown through portals too. This can be used to blow unstationary scaffolds upwards and other platforms.
Buoyancy Gel: A new pink gel. Again, it is a dietic pudding. This one coats the food consumed and makes it float up and out of your mouth. The product manufacturing stopped abruptly. Obviously, the gel makes things float. You can coat a weighted storage cube, or yourself, with this gel and have it float. This could be used in many puzzles (such as ones that could have buttons on roofs). If placed on a platform, it will rise too.
Adhesion Gel: A new green gel. Another attempt at pudding, however it went horribly wrong, and stuck onto consumer's throat and stomach lining. This gel will let you walk on walls and roofs (if it is on that surface). If a cube is coated, it will be able to be stuck on walls (maybe to push a button on an inclined plane or verticle surface)
Gravitation Gel: A new purple gel. This dietic pudding would coat the food that was consumed and weigh it down, dragging it out immediately after consumption. In tests, this can be used to make cubes, or you, heavy which can weight down 3000 Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Super-Stiff Ultra Buttons (unable to be pressed by normal means) It can also weight down elevated platforms, which can raise others, similar to a scale.
I have another ideas, but it has a lot of problems:
Portal Expansion Wall: A kind of wall. When a portal is placed on it, the entire surface becomes a portal.
I still need to tweak it.

New one:
Aperture Science Multi-Purpose Ladder: A ladder that can go through portals. You can make it vertical to be climbed like normal, or make it horizontal or diagonal to be climbed like monkey bars.
Does that make sense to you?

As much as to cause total customer discomfort.
Imagine if you ate all of them at once.
The content of your stomach would be turned into white walls and would be expelled through your throat at rapid speeds. If it didn't clog up your throat at that point, it would fly out and float around the room, rebounding off the walls.
Otherwise, it would be so heavy it would weigh you down and crush you from the inside.
How pleasant.

Aperture Science Rapid Portal Firing Portable Companion Cube:
Like a Companion Cube, but one that repeatedly fires blue and yellow portals randomly in any directions. Will not clash with the ones fired by your own portal gun. This way, you can have up to four portals at a time!
