Memory Leak in Java Player

Hi folks...I wonder if anybody else has noticed a memory leak in the Java Player when running certain projects?  Try this on a Windows machine:

1. Bring up the Task Manager
2. Click on the Processes tab
3. Click on the Memory column so the processes are sorted by memory usage
4. Watch your browser process as you run this project (for example)

When I run this project in IE 7 under Java 1.6, I see the memory usage of the iexplore.exe process jump up by about 1 Mb every couple of seconds.  This doesn't happen on every project I run in the Java Player but it does happen on other projects besides this one.

If you don't know how to bring up the Task Manager...then please just disregard this message.  Thanks for your help!

Re: Memory Leak in Java Player

I saw the same leak with your project.  (I’m also using IE7 and Java build 1.6.0_07-b06.)

I've updated my text adventure game.
