On a tv remote. Or ipod touch.
TV's have capabilities for blind and deaf people (narration/audio description for the blind, closed captioning for the deaf). I don't think it's silly to have braille on a TV remote. ^^
Is the "braille" on the tv remote that you refer to the dots sometimes on the number 5 button? I believe that is there more so you can easily tell where the number pad is and punch in a channel. The same goes with keyboards, with the lines on the f and j keys.
