Ok, an answer to all your conspiracy theories is here! Way back in R/B/G/Y Lavender town had the scariest music you will EVER find in a videogame. It also had hidden frequencies, but this was a test. They made what they were trying to imply a NOTICABLE symptom, so that they would know if it was successful. They also made it undetectable by adults. This was later to come in handy, because as lavender town's hidden frequencies pushed away and projected sadness, the exact opposite may be happening now. They've managed to make them undetectable by children and adults, the only thing that's there is the feeling of fun and happiness. My theory is, Lavender town was a test. Nintendo has now PERFECTED the hidden frequencies, and they're using them to reel kids in and keep. Them. There. Not in a malicious intent, just a business tactic. There. Are all you paranoids satisfied now? Are you no longer scared of Lavender town and all those creepypastas surrounding it? Not yet? Listen to this. Don't go away at the first 6 seconds, listen to it all. http://www.scratch.mit.edu/ext/youtube/?v=kw2HbFhLjLI&feature=related
Also, for those of you who want to test your newfound bravery, listen to the RGBY version. Then read pokemon lost silver. Then do both of them together.
HGSS: Ok, we made lavender town happy and tore down the pokemon tower for our radio tower. Any questions?
RBGY&FRLG: Yeah. HAVE YOU EVER SEEN MOTHER#%$#@IN POLTERGEIST?

Interesting. I left after 40 seconds and it was too cheery. Kinda like Pallet Town.

I like it, and I also like the Lavender Town music.
They both make me want to keep playing the game
Which I just lost.

I am so freaking MAD they got rid of the tower!!!
Well, at least they still have the Sprout Tower...I hope?
Well I mean, it's like exchanging your friend's grave...for a boombox? Seriously Nintendo?
I mean, if you'd just made it a little less frightening and changed the music to something just alittle bit less eerie I would have accepted it. But this? This is unthinkable.

Well thanks. You just totally ruined ANYTHING creepy about my 'pastas. Do you know how long I spent writing those?
And the Syndrome IS totally real. Well, not totally real, but it IS there, a headache and a nosebleed.

Well, in posting that, I totally forgot about your creepypasta.
I mean,
Sorry.
But you have a new site for your creepypasta, right?
I just meant all of the Misc. threads that WERE made about it (not all by you) that could have been combined into one, which I know doesn't apply to your creepypasta.
Anyway, I'm sorry.

Those come from paranoia. You THINK something might happen, therefore you THINK it does. And the nosebleed-- Your body can control more than you think. Also i listened to it -- I'm 11 -- And had no symptoms. 5 times in a row, no symptoms. Although, I have to admit, the hidden ghost and unown in the frequencies were creepy. Only a bit. The best part is, they predicted two pokemon in that generation. There's a girl, just before rocky cave or something, that says she wants a pink pokemon with a floral pattern on it. Munna. Then the hidden unown frequencies.
@brettman I just ended the flame war. I dumped a bucket of water on it, then threw it into the ocean.

No, the frequencies are annoying and high-pitched, resulting in a headache. The nosebleed is caused by paranoia, but the paranoia itself is caused by the headache.

yes, but you were blaming the hidden frequencies on the headache, weren't you?

Yes, I was in fact. And they're true. The unown frequencies? Got a 2-day headache from listening to them alone. The song itself detracts from the negative effects from the unowns.

well I have a cool idea! If you do not like self-inflicted pain, don't listen to the songs!

Besides, we're referring to the audio track of a town in pokemon RGBY.

Hold on! I have a breakthrough!
Missingno. may also appear as a Ghost from Lavender Town’s Pokémon Tower.
It is on the Pokemon wiki(a).
Programming glitch. Missing frequencies.

Interesting coincidence.

And guess what? It first happened... in pokemon Red and Blue. When Missingno was created, and M' was created, so was Lavender Town.
