Hmm, unit ideas? I'll try and think of one.

For buildings maybe a museum? Would increase  smile  and culture in that city.

Sci method would work for it I guess. But I don't know what biotechnology is so I can't help with that.

Sci method would work for it I guess. But I don't know what biotechnology is so I can't help with that.

I have civiv and I love it. It's also really educational with the quotes and the civilopedia and stuff (except I tend to discover Christianity in 200BC...)!

How can you mod Civ4? I'd love to do the same.

As for the units and stuff, I need to have a think.

Maybe some kind of car driver unit which explores the area? It could be an upgrade to scout/explorer, and require the various combustion techs as well as all those that explorer needed, of course. You're also bound to find some pre-made car models which you can repaint.

As for another military unit, a robotized plane should do the trick.  smile

I didn't buy CivV because (a) I already have IV and (b) I saw snippets of it during development, and it didn't exactly... push me into buying it.  wink

Python and XML? OK. I can learn Lua or whatever it is. But how, exactly?

And yeah, perfect idea with the scout probe and stuff. I meant an unmanned aircraft in my post, just didn't use the right words for it.

No 3D modelling that I know of. But what kind of 3D modelling do you need? I might give it a try...  wink
