- Ok so here's teh deal
according to Alternatives, BG1000, TheExplodingCheese, and some others this is how you become famous...
1. Make FRIENDS! (that doesn't mean click every "add to friends" thing you see!) acctually TALK to them and tell them how you thing their projects are doing (in a GOOD WAY) and give them new ideas
2. Dont Use Scratch Sprites! (DUSS) If you use scratch sprites you will most likely not get noticed... FACT: I had an old account *********** andi uesd the scratch sprites.... I got like maybe 5-6 views PER PROJECT... thats not good... but now that i use my own sprites and have good graphics i get like 70+ views a project (my max is 137)
3. DONT USE SPEECH BUBBLES! When i see speech bubbles i think to myself ( can i die by reading too many speech bubbles? Wow how long did they put that bubble on for? WOW... they have no creativity) ALTHOUGH some people are somewhat successful with them... most are not... JUST GET A MICROPHONE PLEASE!!!!!!!! they are like $10-$20 and some MAC's come WITH THEM!!!
4. Too many projects = no views! Only put out a couple projects a month (like 3-5) then you will get a lot of views! Swifty2 put out 1-2 projects a month and he gets like 1000-2000 views!
5. Use the drama! If you see stuff going around like the KAJ thing.. use it! I did and i got 137 views... still counting! People will see that you are keeping up and they will be like "ok this person is on a lot i guess i'll look at their stuff..." (results may vary)
6. DONT USE THE POINTLESS ICON! When you start the #1 thing you should do first is GET RID OF THAT ICON! I look at people who have that icon AND I FORGET THEM... (nothing personal im not trying to be mean)
7. NO SPAM! Dont spam.... Most of us hate it... 'Nuff said.
8. Be nice! If you are mean people wont like you... no views... the end....
9. DONT LIE! People were saying they were from the UK and people found out they were liying because of Time Zones and stuff like that...
10. Make GOOD projects! Dont just make people walk and glide everywhere... make them talk or walk or SOMETHING OTHER THAT JUST GLIDING AROUND FOREVER!
Well I Hope This Helped You! Scratch On! (otherwise known as 'WIHTHUSO')
This was made by bigburrito with help from BG1000, TheExplodingCheese, Megatrontehcube, and Alternatives... THANKS GUYS!

11. One Good Project = Views Up! if you make one project that gets LOTS of views, make some others like it (VIEWS SPARK UP PPL!)
12. Use the fourms. Now im not a big fan of the fourms but apparently you will get noticed more if you do stuff on here
13. MOST OF ALL.... Have fun! This is a fun website! Go an enjoy yourself! ( I am not trying to sound cheesy people!)

Okay, just adding a few things -
Don't beg for love-its and whatnot.
Don't add random projects to galleries.
Don't be rude.
Be respectful.
Don't be obnoxious.
Don't report for silly reasons.
Use proper grammar.
Don't expect to be famous in a few weeks, or even a few months. Go look at how long MaskedStar's been on, or Archmage.
Overall - Don't be obnoxious, be professional, and don't get your hopes up high. You're probably not going to be famous, but it's possible.

Would it be any trouble on your part if I signed up was in it? I don't have a mic so I can't do voices...

Just to be contradicting, I've seen some pretty decent projects that use the scratch sprites and/or speech bubbles that've made it onto the front page. Such as "Smiley Cat AMV" by astro947 and Scratch Level Calculator II by technoguyx. Both of them even use that default scratch cat that each new project has.

I totally agree with that part Flait7, speach bubbles are actually under-rated now that a lot of people use mics. I'm not saying that no one uses them, but it seems that more and more people are using mics now.

Speech bubbles are good when you want to work with text and display text. The other option is to use lists.
