Ya know, all the people against Misc....
...I think Misc is a disaster.
I personally think Misc should be its own forums with its own mods and its own ranks so that we don't have to go through the disaster that is what Misc is on this site. It just looks bad.
I say the link should now redirect to the new forum and only appear to Scratchers. (If this happens)
Misc needs to be less obvious and more Scratch-related on the Site or not be on the site at all.
Back in my day.... there were no laws that censored the internet... now, there are.... nah.

Misc is probably the most popular forum, but it was always a part of the scratch site and should not be (re)moved.
Technically it only came around in 2010, but they've had the Inspiration and More forum since '08.
Anyway, the Scratch Team has repeatedly said no to this. I don't think there's anything wrong with having Misc here, but IMO the no-spam rules really need to be stepped up (how many Lavender Town threads have there been again?). We could solve most of the current problems by adding two rules:
1) Topics should be kept to one thread only
2) No twitter-like posts at all, even if there's a "discuss" at the end
I'm sure most people wouldn't like to see it just get up and leave. I feel it's Miscellaneous that helps the other sections of the forums get seen, and if we moved it out, this place would become a wasteland of unanswered questions and suggestions - not ideal.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.
