This is where it began...

This is New Life...

Life begins for your tiny creature at the bottom of a lake. Adapting to it's surroundings with various abilities will allow it to survive long enough to complete mitosis and evolve into a powerful creature. From there, make your way up the food chain and become the dominent species on the planet Novus Terra.

I'm having a contest. The main game, which takes place as a creature, is desperately in need of other creatures to populate this virgin world.
Top genetic scientists about the earth are working together to create unique animals of all shapes, sizes, and nature. The question is: which ones will be deemed great enough to have their creature tested in this fresh environment? Enter your idea for a creature. Contest ends March 21. Must contain:

Name (Latin names preferably, nothing like "Squidosaurpoopigus" XD)
Diet (Herbivore, Carnivore, Omnivore)
Size (In feet or meters, preferably
Looks (Description of appearance)
Bio (More info on creature)
A picture is appreciated but not required. Top 10 or so creatures will be included in the final game. Don't make all your creatures carnivores, I need a WIDE variety. If i get 10 carnivores, I reserve the right to make changes as necessary (XD)

Final note: Winning creatures are based on ORIGINALITY, not how awesome they are. I don't what a super awesome magical dragon that shoots atomic bombs out of it's eyeballs. I want a creature that's unique and in depth, could scientifically EXIST (Super powers have to be explained somehow in Bio) and that are well adapted to live in their environment, which is a temperate forest like area with a lake

Edit: Contest ends... NEVER! I will add all creatures that I like to New Life, which , speaking of, is about halfway done.

Sorry, WHAT? * u mean "Wat abt detrivore" U mean CARNIVORE? Herbavore? Omnivore?

Carnivore = Eat meat (Like wolves)
Herbavore = Eat plants (Like rabbits)
Omnivore = Eat meat and plants (Like humans. We eat other animals and we eat fruits & veggies)
