note carefully. If your username has an L in it, then you could be impersonated. Someone could make an account with seemingly the same name, but it is not, so the computer accepts it.
Like this:
liam123 is the original. Someone comes and makes a new account with the L as a capital i. So now it would be "capital i"iam123. This could have happened to you if someone says that they told you not to come back

This has been done before. Still, there isn't really a whole lot you can do about it. You just have to be smart.

This is only for the lowercase L people (whew), and you can report the person anyway.

No way to stop it. Also a capital "I" can be done with a lowercase "l"

if someone was banned he/she could create a new account or just fall back on an alt you guys do realize? I've been banned from stuff by corrupt mods before (don't worry not scratch) and just came back with a alt and uploaded all of my stuff from my files back onto the site like nothing happened. so even if you banned a email they could still come back the only way to truly ban someone is to ip ban them and even that can be worked around by proxy servers so really anyone that is dertimened enough can get around even a ip ban and i can't think of a way to fool-proof ban anyone unless you went to their house and set parental controls to block the internet with a random unguessable pin code really.

They should really fix this. And fast. But still, as long as they're not on your account, you're ok.

Now that I think of it, impersonators might be able to replace an "O" with an "0". But I'm not sure.
