(You can't play GBA games on the dsi/3ds, which is a bummer. but the 3ds would be a good choice once the price goes down. i bet it will, just like the wii's did.)

I personally think DSlite or DSi because 3DSs don't seem that great from what my friends say, and if you're going to get a DS you probably don't want the original DS.

2. DSi (in England)
3. Lite. you can drop it alot - one person accidently left it in a washing machine, still worked!
4. The DSi. All the DS games, + the DSiWare.

I have a DSlite, 3DS and a DSiXL. The 3DS only damages under 6 year-olds' eyes.

but seriously grab a 3DS. normal ds' aren't supported by many publishers anymore. nintendo, for one.

yes. yes it is.
considering it has a 3d screen, 3 cameras, a touchscreen, a gyro for motion sensing and power comparable to the wii it's not that surprising.
