It's real, but the transparency is buggy.

Apparently that image is real, but it's of the alpha version.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Aw, I'm gonna have to reteach myself where everything is.  But the format looks good.

Yeah, the ST has said that it's still very alpha, if that, and they haven't really worked on appearance at all. I hope they keep the UI itself mostly the same as it is now.

That image is real! I was lucky enough to attend Scratch Day at MIT and they were showing off a preview of Scratch.

They asked people not to distribute it since it wasn't complete, but I think I'm allowed to fill you in on a few details:

•They are trying out a cloning feature that was surprisingly easy to use
•There was also a build your own block feature (as seen in the picture)

Besides that, the only other major change was the layout of the program.

There was also a presentation at Scratch day that demonstrated what the future of the Scratch website might be. The main focus was making remixing easier by having features like a virtual "backpack" where you could store music files or sprites for later use in your own projects.

Hope that helped a bit!

Not that I would like to have it, but does anyone not in the Scratch Team/Moderators have the program?

Actually, it's the transparency in the format. Transparency isn't working in that image, but the final version will have transparency.

Re: IMAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGEEESSSSSSSSS for Scratch 2.0

The layout looks awesome now but I really hope those block designs are not final.
A script interface should be simple and practical, not just flashy and shiny to attract loads of people that will download the program for 10 minutes and quit.
