My friends' dad told my mom and told me.
They moved to to New Zealand two years ago.Cool!
After that I told a friend who is on Scratch, they visit Scratch quite a lot.
Then the friend that I told about Scratch told another friend.
That's a lot!

I first heard of Scratch from the summer programs that the Seattle Public Library holds every summer. I downloaded it, messed around a bit and discovered how to use variables(and thus taught myself algebra a year before I learned it in school) and created my first game, a simple snake style game.

3.Did you know anyone when you joined scratch?
You can come up with more questions too.
1. At a robotics class. I asked what Scratch was, and then a few hours later I had Scratch
2. I'm not sure. It was 2 years ago.
3. On the website? A few people I did know.

1. I was Googling an alternative to Game Maker (back in '07 but I didn't join until '08). Found it here
2. Pretty easy actually. I figured out how to use the "when [key] pressed" and the "play drum" blocks to make my Drum Kit project.
3. No
