Hi, You might think 'oh, he quit'
I'm not back for long, just a question...
I've got an old Toshiba laptop from '95 era, and i'm wonderring what i should do to it (Modwise & etc)
I'm installing a small sized Linux distrib, but suggestions?
No wireless, & have an EEEpc full of parts at my disposal
(And if you want to contact me www.youtube.com/users/mcmfreak)

Keep it.
Plug it in the wall.
Take that cable stick it in the router.
Turn on Hamachi.
Open Chrome.
Type scratch.mit.edu
Click on forums.
Click on Misc.
Click on post new topic and say you are not quitting.
Hmmm. I don't want you to quit, but I would sell it.

I assume this means ssss is no longer a WindozeNT Software dev so it's safe to evict him, right? Anyways, just put on Windows 95 or Windows NT (I like versions 3.5x and 4).

1: I made that sig, and rabbit liked it, so he used it too.
2: Agreeing with Namco is a criminal offense, and is punishable with 5 years of being forced to play Superman 64 and ET on the 2600. (JK, of course. To tell the truth, the sig was just supposed to be funny. Even though I still don't get why you would agree with Namco.

Steal the HDD, the RAM and hook on a better LCD, see if you can add the CPU as well. Installing a light version of linux would be the best idea and I would recommend not connecting it to the internet. Try installing scratch and other software that can be used offline. You may also use it for word processing etc. Don't install heavy programs such as Photoshop. GIMP probably comes pre-installed.
P.S. Welcome back! although only for a short time. I wish I had a computer of my own... Lucky you!
