The 2008 Scratch Elections are Coming to You
Hello all,
I have been thinking about doing a vote for a president project or gallery and then I had the idea of doing Scratch Elections, unfortuneately I am not the first to think of this but if the owner of that gallery doesn't mind I would like to do my own version of it, this is what I was thinking;
People nominate OTHER people to be a Scratch President
If that person agrees they choose to be in a party
Once there are 4 people in each party they choose their main goals i.e. more tutorials, age limit etc.
One person will be nominated to take part in the full elections,
I will make a forum with a balet and then people can vote for the party and person
Maybe the Scrach Team could help with a prize?
I would really like to start this off but I would need a helper (I am not the most experienced ScratchR) and YOU to join and make this possible

I think you should start it. Another election would be fun, but then there'd be two presidents so you should talk to the creator of the first scratch elections. I think it's wolfdemon.
Btw, in these scratch elections can you make ads/commercials that ask people to nominate you or just ask someone to nominate you or not?

how about we have a list of people whom want to run for president, this will also limit it down to people who want to be president and will be on scratch often and will get rid of people who don't really want to be a part of this, I would like to run, but I don't have the time to since I'm rarely on the computer anymore

I'm on often, but I can only upload at school, because of the Leopard uploading bug. But I do plan on going to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store to possibly find a solution.

No, someone who thinks you will make a good Scratch President comes here and says
' I nominate ...........'
and then you can run, otherwise if no one wants you to be president it is a bit pointless dont you think?
