What is Convert IT?
Convert IT converts projects from anything other scratch and converts it to either another mod or scratch, making it compatible with almost anything.
Is Convert IT free?
Convert IT is FREE and we aim to keep it that way
Is IT perfect??
Convert IT is not perfect. It works fine, however, as some mods use completely different platforms and scripting, if IT can't convert it, IT renames that block as obsolete.
How does IT work?
Convert IT goes through a simple process of renaming, if you are thinking why don't I just do it myself, it is impossible to rename the file type, however IT is clever and forces conversion.
How do I download IT?
Here are the download links:
ConvertIT 0.2
ConvertIT 0.1
Is there a change-log?
You can access the change-log here. Our changelog also includes EXTME online, it is more reliable as it is updated more often.
A way to use it
You can also enter any file for the ext file. So if you don't want players to play or see anything in your game or if it is a PC search simply convert it, forcing the players to convert to play or to see the notes/clues.

Did you know that the changelog actually also includes EXTME Online? It is more reliable as it is updated more often.

is RAGE done?
Yes, but now you can just add the ext even if it isn't in the bat because it forces it.

This seems to be pretty cool! I think I'll move it over to the Advanced Topics forum, it seems to be better fit there.

It's a pretty good start, but I think batch doesn't give you enough potential. Maybe you could try moving on to some other language to actually convert the block spec's themselves between mods!
That would be really cool.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by not being able to rename file types, but I think you mean changing the file extension (eg. docx would be a word document) if so then it's quite easy to change it, if you are using windows then you have to enable "show file extensions on known types" in folder options, then you just rename it and change the extension. I like LS97's idea.
but anyway, good effort.

I think it's actually disable "hide extensions for known file types", but same concept anyway.
And thanks

Yeah. I was thinking that too. I actually have that on my computer. Really handy sometimes. Rubbish when it makes the file unreadable.
