I thought some people would look at it that way...if you think it trolling, thats why they made the Report button.....

That's not trolling
It's literally just tips.
I quite agree with scratch_yoshi on this one. If you don't have anything polite to say, just don't say it. There's no reason to lash out at anyone, particularly if they were making some very valid points.

Don't you find it rather ironic that a thread about a thread that was meant to negate the negativity has in fact become filled with the negativity that necessitated the thread in the first place?

No it's fine.
The sad part of that all the negative stuff could have been prevented with the simple "let me hit 'report' instead of act rudely" thing. No matter how one feels that are in the right when posting a comment, such thinking it's never a justification to post rudely. 
Anyway, my internet is being very fussy again, looks like Paddle and Lightnin are here so hit the report button when you see something rude and they can take care of what's going on where I left off. Behave yourselves, everyone. ^^
