more advanced character and backround designing system

One thing about scratch, its not a very good program for drawing. we need a more advanced designing system.

Definitely. I mean you still still get good images in scratch you just have to import your images after you create them in other programs. It would be nice if scratch's image editor was better.

Yeah. Like it needs the copy and paste feature. that would save alot of computer space.

And a curved line feature. That would help alot.

Re: more advanced character and backround designing system

I still think scratch should look more at flash and realise what makes it so great. For a start, i am awear that flash uses vectors and scratch use bit maps, but there are so many things that might be acoplishable. For example, a great start i think would be to set the square button's corner radius to make the corners curved. this as a start would have a great impact on scratch's drawing quality. Mabye they could look into a secondary mouse option like in flash, that could select points and edit them, like making a stright line into a curved line. Little changes like this could greatly affect scratch's drawing quality. There is much more, i can think of a couple of color changes as well. Mabye the scratch team would like to improve the gradient tool, and change the colors int a #000000 type of format like in flash.
