Re: Feedback on Cloning Feature

I think it is very useful, I was not at MIT on Scratch day but have used cloning on Modifications before. I would say it is used mostly in shooting games, build your own platform games, and other things that you want to be able to make a 'stamp' move. Cloning is not used too much however, because I think people tend to just not want to program with it. I'm not sure exactly what clone blocks you have, it is really good to have a <clone?> block for cloning, and the hat.

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

Do you mean a <am I a clone?> block? That is also useful.
I could also use clones in my Worminator 0 game.

Re: Feedback on Cloning Feature

I thought it was great. During the presentation I was thinking that I could make a fading pen with it, but there was no paint editor.

I also really liked the procedures, it's brilliant!
