Block Area Size

How do I increase the size of the area where I place blocks, as at the moment, mine is smaller than the one at school. Is this to do with resolution or is it something else.

Any help would be great, thanks.

It's probably to do with resolution. Besides if the blocks don't fit fully then it adds a  scroll bar to the scripts.  Hope it helps{:>)
