It was originally on the MIT website, but it was taken down and someone else put it up on their own website. And there is at least one LLK project that's inappropriate. ;]

Hey all - Just a couple of notes.
It's not really the Scratch 2.0 beta. Scratch 2.0 is an entire website and an editor that works online. What was shown in the workshop, for testing purposes, was a pre-alpha of the project editor. So it's not really accurate to call it Scratch 2.0 - it's only a small part of that.
See the FAQ here:
http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Scratch2FAQ
I'll also mention that were only in the conceptual stages - we haven't even started thinking about look and feel. We're still working on workflow and organizational issues. See the most recent 2.0 update blog entry, here:
http://blog.scratch.mit.edu/2011/05/scr … cloud.html
So the final product is very likely to be different.
Large scale software development, if you want it to be good, takes many many test versions. Scratch had probably 80 versions or so before it was even released as 1.0. So what was previewed at Scratch Day was a very early pre-alpha. The final Scratch 2.0 editor may end up being very different.. we have to wait and see.

That's exactly what I meant. And everyone, stop asking for it. The version I have is just like the experimental viewer with a couple more features.

No, on my FS page, there is a list of my connections, some of whom have answered questions with the link to that site in it.

It's not really worth it. All it has that's new is color sensors, cloning, and block creation.
ALL that is has?
Thanks Lightnin though.
