I missed Scratch Day. AGAIN.
This time it was because I had a fever.

I've never been to a Scratch day in all the time I've been using Scratch.

Ditto. It's always out-of-state.

No, ditto means "same here". If you're thinking of the Pokémon, well...

I missed it because there ARE NONE IN CANADA.
Scratch, I am dissapoint.
I mean, I could drive for a couple hours to MIT, if my family had a car.
Or take a plane, if we had money for it.
Or walk, if..
Well, walking would be insanity, amirite?

The Scratch Days by me where designed with 7 year-olds in mind. I'd DIE if I showed up there. If the little kids at the SDs by me were as fascinated by a spinning Scratch cat as my class at school were, the next generation of programmers will NOT do well at their jobs XD

Reasons why I couldn't, and probably won't come in future:
1) I live in the west of the UK, where no Scratch Day is held. The nearest one to me is in Birmingham, but I am not driving from Wiltshire to Birmingham just to go to an exhibition. It would be fun, but not ideal to drive 160 miles.
2) I don't exactly know what it's about - is it where Scratchers meet to show off their stuff or something, or is it some kind of conference where Scratchers talk about improving Scratch?
3) I don't know a single Scratcher that lives near me to go with. The nearest person is Willig, but he lives in Essex, the exact opposite of where I live.
4) School would interupt my travels.
5) Other boring points that I can't be bothered to write or think about.

The right to remain silent is a line used by the police when they're going to interrogate you. If they don't read you that right beforehand, they can't use any of your words against you as evidence in the court of law

yes but then of course you cant use them in your favor
so if you never talk theyll talk for you... the truth would be hidden.

They could talk for you, but they need evidence, if you don't have evidence then they can't prove you did anything at all.
