What, are you giving me your password for this?  yikes

You get to decide if someone should be in Rocket...

It also means you don't have to credit me for anything you use...

Please check your messages.

I'm not a Rocket dev. I don't know who should be, and what your policies were.
Why don't you give that to Pacola?

Pecola1 has that...
You just can suggest people with skills in squeak -_-

Pecola1 is the new owner

If you are reading this, please read to the end, because if you don't you won't know what's at the end. Don't just skip to the end though otherwise you won't be able to read the middle, which is most important. Now you must be wondering why you just read all that, the reason is you may have not noticed something, read it again and see if you notice it this time  smile

Re: Rocket (RKT) Development thread - A new start

I am going to post a new topic, should I make it with RocketDevs, and wait till they can edit? Or should I go ahead and make it Pecola1's topic? I was the second developer besides ssss, that could be why he keeps putting me in charge.

The pass to the account, the weird thing is I logged into the account, then it said it was banned from the forums, and it IP banned me. I got off to go to church and when I got home there wasn't a reply to the email I sent to help@scratch.mit.edu, but my IP had been unbanned, might have been a short ban... so anyone who got a comment on their project that said not to go on the RKT devs account... ignore it.  tongue  I think its fixed, unless you get 2 of them, I am trying again.  tongue

It might be a glitch with my computer, someone used the RocketDev account who had another account which was banned from "posting disrespectful remarks on the forums with another account." So the reason why I thought it was IP is because on my Google chrome browser it keeps whenever I go to scratch forums, logging me in as RocketDevs. So I contested the scratch team about the ban, and the glitch. IT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU LOG INTO THE ACCOUNT! but it might not. IF YOU DO LOG INT THE ACCOUNT AND IT IS BANNED AND HAS THE GLITCH USE A DIFFERENT BROWSER! (I use chrome, so when it banned I am using incognito chrome.)

BTW your sig

FIREFOX ROX.  It's open source.  Chrome on the other hand, who knows whats lurking inside it. As for IE, its ugly.  Opera is weird.  Safari is slow, ugly, and not customizable.  BTW MACS FTW because you CAN LEGALLY RUN WINDOWS ON A MAC, BUT NOT VISEVERSA

Doesn't make too much sense, macs are better because they make it illegal to run mac on windows? That would make windows better because they allow it.  tongue  But whatever.
[/offTopic]

So when you say you think the ban is TheBuilderdd's fault, why? Did he get his account banned? What do we do about it? Do we not allow him to use it?  hmm  I'm not sure.

~~Gbear605 and the Rocket Developer Team.

Hi all. I can understand why you'd want to promote this shared account, but the thing is that right now we're thinking we need to really discourage all sharing of accounts. The reason is that in the next version of Scratch, the current plan is to allow each account to have a private area that no one else can see. Of course, if people share accounts, then they could see things in that private area that no one else could see (or flag). That's kind of sketchy from an internet safety point of view, so we're going to have to do a lot of technical stuff to prevent sharing of accounts.

So since we're moving in that direction, we need to start discouraging shared accounts. I'd like to ask you guys to figure out a different way of collaborating. It sounds like it would be nice to all be able to edit the thread, but perhaps instead you could have a designated thread editor who can queue up requests. That'd be a better plan for the future.
